Hospital and Patient Safety

AAHA: We are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, the Standard of Veterinary Excellence. Your pets are our passion, and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority.

COURTESY: We are courteous to our clients and expect the same in return. Disrespectful behavior, including yelling or swearing at staff, will result in inactivation of the client account and cancellation of future veterinary visits.

WEAPONS: Weapons, including guns and other firearms, are not allowed on the premises. Please leave your weapons at home.

COMMUNICABLE DISEASE: If you have symptoms of a cold (coughing/sneezing/runny nose, head cold, COVID, influenza, etc.), please notify our staff and we will accommodate a curbside visit so that you can stay in your car. If you must come indoors, kindly wear a medical-grade facemask.

EXAM ROOMS: Appointments are limited to one client per exam room.

FEAR FREE: To support our patients’ safety and comfort, and in accordance with modern fear-free guidelines for pets, anxiety-reducing medication will be administered to patients that are fearful in the veterinary setting. We will discuss this with you in advance. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments for patients who need additional sedation.

PATIENT SAFETY: Patient safety is in everyone’s best interest. We require all dogs be leashed, and cats be in carriers.
